After close to two months of 'training' at Taman Aman, I finally felt that I was ready to conquer Bukit Gasing. A jewel of forest reserve smack in the middle of the boarder of Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. It has been more than a year since I last ventured up the dense forest reserve and wondered if I could make it all the way up.
Well, this morning seems a good one as any other. It rained yesterday evening and in the wee hours of the morning so I was expecting a slippery and wet track up and down.
Please, please excuse the horrible pictures that I took. Obviously it shows how bad my training had actually went as my stamina was not all that great. i made about 4 - 5 'pit-stops' on the way up and was shaking quite a bit due to panting and creaking bones and joints. LOL!

The entrance, at the time, there were lots of hikers either waiting for friends or catching their breath.
More Pebble Reflexology Path all the way at the entrance. This is new as they weren't there last time I came .
Pretty orkids
A little brook that meandered its way through the forest
The air was cool & crisp, green everywhere. Masyallah! God is Great!
ReaL JUNGLE
On my right
Jungle plants
Interesting foliage by the path
The view I had as I took a breather. Young 'uns going up effortlessly.
