Another week comes to an end

It has been raining almost every evening, so an outing in the morning is most refreshing.

I love the soft pastel pink...

There were so many of these bright purple flowers on the grass so I looked up and saw high up above the beautiful bouquet of the purple sprays...

I chanced upon these and thought they were tree stumps. What a surprise when I realized what they really were.  So I'm adding them to my photo collection....

I've been passing this pinang tree for some years now and it sure makes me wonder how it still survives...Must have been attacked by termites...
